News: No One Actually Asks for a Weekly Digest

No One Actually Asks for a Weekly Digest

But it seems like all of the major social networks are determined to send you one anyway:

Quora:

Twitter:

To be fair, I actually like the Quora one, because it features interesting information that I wouldn't have thought of. The others just regurgitated information I would have either kept up with by logging in, or provided information on popular stuff, which I don't really care about. And I didn't mention the Google+ one, or the Facebook one because I turned those options off from the very beginning. This should be a feature that you should deal with at sign-up, not five months into using it.

ETA:

I just checked my Pinterest account - apparently I'd already checked the "off" option for the weekly digest:

Funny, I could have sworn the same thing happened with my Twitter digest, too.

I agree. Definitely something you should sign up for yourself, or have the choice to turn off when signing up. Some I like, but generally I don't like things being shoved down my throat.
